An accessible paddling event for youth with disabilities, 30 years old and under! Come experience the supportive paddling environment and adapted equipment with the folks at Selkirk Canoe and Kayak!

Location: Selkirk Park

The Selkirk Canoe & Kayak Centre is located in Selkirk Park. When you enter the park you take the first left turn up onto the gravel road and drive past the skatepark. You will see a big blue building and this is SCKC. There is no physical address for our building and it will not show on Google Maps. If you require additional directions please reach out.

What SCKC Offers

• Wheelchair accessible docks – including a gentle grade landscaping leading up to the dock
• Stable kayaks and boat launch
• Inlet water, no current
• Staff and volunteers on site to guide you
• Bring a friend or support person with you
• Accessible washrooms onsite

You should wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather, this could include: shorts, T-shirt, windbreaker, hat, and sunglasses. Bring a water bottle, a towel, and dry clothes to change into after. There are accessible change rooms and washrooms onsite.
