Para Badminton Participation Day

July 13 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

There are four photos of athletes with a disability playing badminton in this poster. Framed in a grid, they are a youth, little person using their underhand swing to catch a birdie, an older gentlemen in a wheelchair reaching forward with their wrist shot, a wheelchair player leaning all the way back, almost parallel with the ground to catch the birdie and a picture of Manitoba's first Paralympic badminton player Olivia Meier at her first games!

Thank you to Badminton Canada for sponsoring this fun and FREE event with snacks, refreshments and a few chances to win a Yonex racquet!

Meet Elliott Beals, the Canadian National Para Badminton Team coach and learn the basics of Para Badminton with the help of players from Manitoba. We provide all the equipment.

This will be a relaxed afternoon of learning to play, making new friends and connecting with the badminton community. Newcomers are encouraged to attend! Whether this is your first time trying the sport or you have played before, join us for a fun afternoon!
