You are invited! To an accessibility-focused cross-country ski day for persons with disabilities and their families with Accessible Sport Connection and the Winnipeg Trails Association.
The event begins at 9:30 am with an accessibility-focused skiing talk inside the Alloway Reception Centre followed by a vision-impaired ski. Afternoon programming begins at 12:30 pm with guest speakers discussing mobility-impaired skiing and a sit-ski try-it event for the rest of the afternoon.
General Admission to Fort Whyte is 12$, Please contact Kirby at mbaccessiblesport@gmail.com if you need fiancial support to attend this event (Or show up and we can support you)
Please note, there is no public transportation to this site but Transit Plus does service this venue!
