Blind Sports in Manitoba

Manitoba Blind Sports Association provides a variety of different programming throughout the year. The sports that are offered are yoga, swimming, archery, curling, cross country skiing, golf, and dragon boat.

Current Programming

Curling – Granite Curling Club on Tuesdays and Saturdays

Blind Golf – Wednesday evenings at Harbourview Golf course, Monday nights at Tuxedo Golf Course.

Archery – Wednesday nights

Cross Country Skiing – Sunday afternoons at Windsor Park Nordic Centre

Provincial Golf tournaments are at Kildonan Park Golf Course in late June

9-Hole Golf – Fun rounds/events at Shooters and Players Golf course in July – August – September.

Membership Fee’s cover 3 group sessions, 1 (optional) provincial tournament, and 2 fun rounds (9-hole with a sighter partner). MBSA also covers 2 rounds of golf per member (max 30$/round).

Swimming – Pan Am Pool on Saturday mornings

Dragon Boat Racing – Thursday evenings at the Manitoba Canoe, Kayak Club (80 Churchill Drive)

Yoga – Virtually on zoom on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 

To join these programs, you must become a member of MBSA, there is a $100 membership fee for new members and a $200 membership fee for returning members with a $100 returnable fundraising fee.
