What is Para Archery?


Para Archery in Manitoba

Archery Manitoba provides Para archery integrated with all their programming. To learn how to join a club, please visit http://archerymanitoba.ca/about/clubs/.  For athletes interested in development beyond the lessons and club stage, Archery Manitoba provides one on one planning to connect athletes to coaches and resources to compete at a national and international stage. Programs range from $60-$120 depending on the length of the program. Contact info@archerymanitoba.ca for a consultation.

Archery Manitoba also provides a drop in learn to shoot. Drop in is $10-$15 an hour and includes some unstructured guidance. The following locations are accessible:

  • Heartland Archery – 10 Keenleyside St Unit K, Winnipeg, MB
  • Jo-Brook Outdoors –  2030 Park Ave, Brandon, MB
  • Heights Archery – 2281 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB (not accessible to wheelchair users) (home of a VI[visually impaired] program)

Archery programs are open to anyone 6 and up, all the equipment is provided, however they do not provide specialized adaptive prosthetics or release aids.
