What is Power Wheelchair Hockey?
Power Wheelchair Sports in Manitoba
There are a few sports offered in Manitoba for power wheelchair users, these sports include Boccia, Power Wheelchair Soccer and Power Wheelchair Hockey.
Boccia is run in partnership with a few organizations who make up Manitoba Boccia, you can learn more about Boccia here.
Both Power Wheelchair Soccer and Power Wheelchair Hockey are run through Manitoba Possible. League chairs are available to borrow during sessions if one requires. All other equipment needed for both programs is provided, other than a hockey stick. If you need your hockey stick adapted, they will be more than happy to assist.
