Shooting Para Sport in Manitoba

The Manitoba Provincial Rifle Association is the Governing Body for Target Shooting in the Province of Manitoba.  Shooting Para Sport is a Paralympic sport enjoyed by thousands of athletes worldwide. We utilize our facilities, along with others to provide our members with a varied shooting experience in the full-bore (.308 and .223 calibre), and small-bore (air Rifle, Air Pistol and .22 cal. Rifle) disciples.

We offer Air Rifle and Air Pistol indoor Target Shooting at our 920 Nairn Avenue location.  This facility is open and available to all our members and prospective members It is fully equipped for wheelchair access, as well as Para and Adaptive shooting.  Our ranges are electronically equipped which makes it more accessible for all athletes as one does not need to continually go forward to change targets. Range Program and Practise hours vary according to what programs are selected on joining our association.

The cost of a membership is Adults $50, Junior $25 (under 25 years of age), Family $70.  We offer many coached, shooting programs for all ages and abilities.  We also have Recreational Target Shooting Programs and a Target Shooting League (both available to all members) enabling many of our members to continue shooting throughout their entire lives.  For most of our programs, we supply all the necessary equipment.
